Tanvir Ahmed

Tanvir is passionate about primate ecology and conservation. During undergraduate and Master’s degree, he was involved in few studies on Rhesus Macaque, Pig-tailed Macaque and Bengal Slow Loris. His current project is on population status and conservation initiative of globally endangered Phayre’s Langur in northeast Bangladesh. He is also assisting in studies on ecology and conservation Hoolock Gibbon. Since 2013, Tanvir is an active butterfly watcher and recorded a dozen of butterfly species new to Bangladesh.
